Terms of Service

These terms apply to the LabSnaps iPhone app and this website. By creating an account or using LabSnaps, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use LabSnaps.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

LabSnaps helps you organize your lab results and provides general, educational information about lab tests. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Educational content, including AI-generated content, is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare provider.

• Always talk to your healthcare provider about your results and before making health decisions.
• Don't delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something in LabSnaps.
• LabSnaps is not for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number right away.

LabSnaps reads values from the reports you add, on your device or, if you choose, with AI Parsing. Reading a report can produce mistakes: a value, unit, range or date may be missed or read incorrectly. LabSnaps shows you what it read before saving and flags values it isn't confident about, but you're responsible for checking your results against the original report.

AI-generated educational content can also be incomplete or wrong. Always rely on your original lab report and your healthcare provider.

• Keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
• You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app's Account settings.

You own the reports and information you add to LabSnaps. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide LabSnaps to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you keep results for another person in a family profile, you confirm that you have the right to do so, for example as their parent, guardian, or a caregiver with their permission.

AI Parsing and AI Insights are optional and off until you turn them on. When you use them, the data described in our Privacy Policy is sent to Google to process your request. Free accounts have a daily limit on these features. We may change these features or their limits.

LabSnaps is free to use. LabSnaps Premium is an optional, auto-renewing monthly subscription that adds the features described in the app.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm your purchase. The price is shown before you buy.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID's subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. Contact Apple to request a refund.

• Don't use LabSnaps for anything illegal, or to store information you don't have the right to.
• Don't try to access other people's accounts or data, or to disrupt, overload or bypass the security or limits of LabSnaps.
• Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell LabSnaps, except where the law allows it.

The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Apple isn't responsible for LabSnaps or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple Health, Sign in with Apple and iCloud are provided by Apple under Apple's own terms.

We're always improving LabSnaps, so features may change, be added or be removed. The service may occasionally be unavailable, for example for maintenance. We'll try to give notice of significant changes.

LabSnaps, its name, logo, design and software are owned by us and protected by law. These terms don't give you any right to use them except to use LabSnaps as intended.

LabSnaps is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that LabSnaps will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on information in LabSnaps. Our total liability for any claim relating to LabSnaps is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

You can stop using LabSnaps and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, continue after that.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use LabSnaps after that means you accept the updated terms.
